“Education is the most important aspect for anyone that lives in the world. It doesn’t matter how it is attained, it matters how you use it. Without it, the way that we think would be underutilized. Everyone is a scientist even if you hate science.“
While not studying or procrastinating, I also enjoy doing research at the university with the Earth and Environmental Sciences Department. My research involves Paleoclimate (the study of past climates) and I look into fire history via charcoal records, pollen analysis to give history on vegetation and land use by utilizing lake sediments taken from California wetlands and lakes but also sediments from El Salvador.
Hello, my name is Anthony. I am a current Junior at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California. My major is in Environmental Sciences with a great passion for education. I love to teach many subjects and constantly find myself on many rabbit holes trying to know more about our Earth. I am also a Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Scholar meaning eventually, I will end up in a PhD program for graduate school. I made GeoSci and I as a personal project to not only educate but to inspire.
